Himonya Park not only has a tiny petting zoo to delight the little ones, but it also offers pony rides and has boats for hire to row around the pond.

The petting zoo is open every day except Mondays, between the hours of 10:00am to 11:30am, and 1:30pm to 3:00pm. Tickets for pony rides cost ¥150 and can be purchased from the machine which has English instruction and is located next to the zoo. Pony rides are available from 9:00am to 6:00pm (closed 12-1). Boat hire is available year round except for December to February and children must be accompanied by an adult each.
