City Guides
The links provided are to the Japanese sites but all of them provide either human translations to English, Korean, and Chinese, or the often confusing web-based translations. Click on your language or the multilingual tab. The guides provide a wealth of information for those living in the ward including what is usually called a Living Guide, where you can find information on taxes, national health insurance and pension, public programs such as medical, pregnancy and childbirth, childrearing, day care, education, welfare, waste and recycling, utilities, cars and bicycles, public facilities such as libraries, swimming pools, gymnasiums, and parks.
